France Canal Cruise and Road Trip
Day 1: Arrival in Carcassonne
Date: 11th October 2024
After arriving in Marseille early in the morning, we drove to Carcassonne. On the way, we stopped at a supermarket to stock up on supplies. After checking in and getting settled on the boat, we explored Carcassonne's old town and enjoyed a meal at a local pizzeria.

Day 2: Cruise from Carcassonne to Marseillette
Date: 12th October 2024
In the morning, we took a short tour of Carcassonne before embarking on our canal cruise. We navigated through several locks and docked in Marseillette for the night.

Day 3: Cruise from Marseillette to Ventenac-en-Minervois
Date: 13th October 2024
We continued our journey along the canal, stopping at Homps to adjust the bikes. We then sailed on to Ventenac-en-Minervois, where we enjoyed a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Cruise from Ventenac-en-Minervois to Capestang
Date: 14th October 2024
We sailed through Le Somail in the morning and explored Capestang in the afternoon. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and stayed overnight in Capestang.
Day 5: Cruise from Capestang to Colombiers
Date: 15th October 2024
After a morning cruise, we reached Colombiers, where we explored the town and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Cruise from Colombiers to Béziers and Agde
Date: 18th October 2024
We sailed from Colombiers to Béziers, where we explored the town. In the afternoon, we continued to Agde, where we docked for the night before returning the boat the next morning.
Day 7: Return the Boat and Travel to Marseille
Date: 19th October 2024
After returning the boat in Agde, we took public transportation to retrieve our car from Carcassonne. We then drove back to Agde and stayed overnight.
Day 8-10: Explore Marseille
Dates: 21st - 23rd October 2024
We spent the final days of our trip exploring Marseille, visiting historical sites, and enjoying the local cuisine. We returned the car on the 23rd and took our flight back home.
